Senior AI Engineer Applied GenAI / Full Stack
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Platform Team and help build secure, scalable, and reusable enterprise AI capabilities. The role focuses on delivering governed platform capabilities, RAG-based search, chat assistants, agent/chatbot services, and production-ready AI solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role centered on backend services, platform engineering, cloud-native delivery, and enterprise AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and deliver production-ready enterprise AI solutions.
  • Develop reusable AI platform components and domain-aligned AI solutions.
  • Work across the full solution lifecycle including infrastructure, APIs, services, cloud deployment, data storage, and production support.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to privacy, security, compliance, observability, and engineering standards.
  • Build backend services and cloud-native platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 6 8 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on development experience.
  • Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript (primary and mandatory technology stack).
  • Experience building backend/platform-oriented full-stack solutions including APIs, services, databases, cloud deployment, and operational support.
  • Strong AWS experience including API Gateway, Lambda, Bedrock, S3, EventBridge, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, CloudWatch, CDK, and Fargate.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably AWS CDK (mandatory).
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience building Generative AI solutions, ideally RAG/search-based AI, chatbot/copilot solutions, or enterprise knowledge assistants.
  • Practical understanding of prompt engineering and prompt design.
  • Knowledge of retrieval and generation concepts including embeddings, chunking, semantic retrieval, vector search, top-k, and top-p.
  • Understanding of AI guardrails, safety controls, output validation, hallucinations, prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, and content-safety concerns.
  • Experience building enterprise-grade APIs/services that integrate AI capabilities into business workflows.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals including testing, debugging, source control, and CI/CD.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
