The CDA credential involves more extensive coursework, experience, and a portfolio review, making it a higher-level credential for professional advancement in early childhood education.

How much do you get paid for having a CDA?

Is an assistant CDA credential worth it?

An assistant CDA credential can enhance job prospects in early childhood education by demonstrating foundational skills and commitment. It often serves as a stepping stone toward higher certifications or roles requiring more responsibility, and may improve employability and earning potential in childcare settings.

What jobs can you get with an assistant CDA credential?

An assistant CDA credential qualifies individuals for entry-level positions in early childhood education, such as preschool teacher assistant, childcare provider, or daycare assistant.
