Overview
Travel Registered Nurse โ€“ Emergency Department (ER RN) in Clifton Springs, NY. Start date: July 21, 2026. Duration: 8 weeks with possible extension. Weekly pay: $1,817โ€“$1,894 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3ร—12 rotating nights and mids (1900โ€“0700 and 1100โ€“2300). Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Setting: emergency department with a separate CPEP behavioral health area in a community-based care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED/CPEP area for patients of all ages
- Conduct triage, initial assessment, medical clearance, and disposition planning
- Manage airway support, establish IV access, administer medications, and monitor response; support vasopressor use as indicated
- Recognize and respond to cardiac events (STEMI) and dysrhythmias; interpret EKGs and provide appropriate interventions
- Perform phlebotomy, basic wound care, and participate in procedural tasks (e.g., airway management, suction, support during procedures)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PCTs, Respiratory, PT, Social Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response; assist with behavioral health events in the CPEP space
- Document clearly and efficiently in EPIC; ensure patient safety and effective communication with families and team
- Participate in unit operations and float to ED/CPEP areas as needed
Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; ED/EMC experience preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work 3ร—12 night/mid rotation (1900โ€“0700 and 1100โ€“2300) and to float to ED/CPEP areas
- Caring for patients across all ages; behavioral health considerations and de-escalation skills preferred
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
