Job description

Elisa Pastry is a local dessert, Pastry shop focused on delighting our customers with artisanal, beautiful, and high-quality cake and desserts.

We are looking for an experienced Bakery Assistant/cake decorator to join our team in part time or full time position, 5-6 days a week. If you are energetic, efficient, friendly & love working within a team environment, we want to meet you! Please send a up to date resume, as we will be conducting interviews within the next 2 days. Compensation will be based on experience.

Qualified Candidates will:

  • have experience working in bakery/kitchen
  • be skilled in hands-on production
  • have STRONG communication skills and attention to detail.
  • have a positive attitude
  • be coachable and have a desire to learn new skills and techniques
  • Must have good time management skills and the ability to multi-task with a calm demeanor
  • follow directions, establish procedures, and prioritize tasks
  • have two years of culinary education (preferred)
  • have worked at least one year in production and custom cake decorating
  • be skilled at piping, crumbing, icing, and working with fondant
  • have flexibility in scheduling, You can be off on Saturdays or Sundays
  • obtain Food Handler’s Certificate (required of all FOH staff within 30 days of hiring)
