SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Swing Shift (Varied Hours)
PAY: Starting at $23.80 per hour, with opportunities for annual increases. Shift premium of $1 per hour while working between the hours of 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
Responsible for ensuring all accounting activities in the Cage Department are performed accurately and efficiently, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State Tax Commissions, and established company policies, procedures, and Internal Controls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential to this role. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, as well as organizational policies, procedures, and practices:
Access funds and ensure prompt distribution to appropriate areas of the property.
Assist the Shift Managers in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures to improve the department's functionality.
Ensure the integrity of all financial data produced by team members under supervision.
Monitor all financial activities related to the Cage to ensure compliance with company regulations and federal, state, and Gaming Commission rules.
Coordinate audits related to Cage Operations.
Assist team members in understanding complex departmental responsibilities.
Facilitate the flow of information by organizing and leading regularly scheduled meetings.
Maintain accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
Uphold the highest level of confidentiality.
Maintain consistent and regular attendance as outlined in the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Attendance Policy.
Serve as an outstanding representative and credit to FireKeepers Casino Hotel.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all accounting activities in the Cage Department are performed accurately and efficiently, adhering to organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include maintaining appropriate staffing levels, interviewing, hiring, and training team members.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must possess the education, training, and experience necessary to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this role. FireKeepers reserves the right to verify candidates' qualifications through interviews, testing, and other methods.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in Cage Operations. Proficiency in written and verbal English communication is required, along with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Candidates must be highly skilled in working with numbers and mathematical operations. Additionally, applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.
GENERAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred qualifications include college coursework in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or a related field, as well as one year of experience in casino credit operations. Successful completion of FireKeepers Casino Hotel Track Training programs is also desirable.
