1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler III to perform electronic and mechanical assembly of aerospace components and subassemblies. This role involves assembling, modifying, reworking, and testing precision assemblies while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in LRU assembly, cable harnessing, soldering, and interpreting engineering documentation.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
-Minimum 3+ years of electronics assembly experience.
-Hands-on LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) assembly experience is REQUIRED.
-Experience assembling electronic equipment including cables, wire harnesses, chassis, and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
-Mechanical assembly experience with panels, LRUs, batteries, and servo motors.
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire lists.
-Experience using hand tools, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, and compression connection tools. --Strong understanding of torque specifications and proper application.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
-Assemble electronic and mechanical components, assemblies, and subassemblies according to engineering specifications.
-Perform wiring, cable harnessing, hand soldering, component installation, and mechanical assembly.
-Assemble electronic equipment including:
Cables, Wire harnesses, Chassis, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
-Perform mechanical assembly of:
Panels
Line Replaceable Units (LRUs)
Batteries
Servo motors
-Set up and adjust assemblies while maintaining required tolerances.
-Disassemble, modify, repair, rework, and reassemble assemblies when required.
-Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wire lists.
-Verify workmanship and quality using established inspection procedures.
-Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Assist with training lower-level assemblers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience working in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
-Strong attention to detail and quality.
-Good computer skills.
-Ability to distinguish colors for wiring applications.
-Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
-Willingness to work overtime when required.
