Job description

Project Superintendent – Multi-Family Housing

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead on-site construction for multi-family housing projects in Columbus. Partnering closely with the Project Manager, you will hold daily field authority to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

  • Field Leadership: Direct day-to-day jobsite operations, manage subcontractors, and lead regular Foreman and OAC meetings.
  • Project Execution: Drive the project schedule, assist with cost control, and actively identify and resolve field issues.
  • Quality & Safety: Enforce all safety policies, maintain jobsite security, manage building code inspections, and oversee quality control, including punch lists.
  • Administration: Manage site permits, maintain accurate as-built drawings, and submit daily project reports.
  • Mentorship & Support: Train Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents, and assist with preconstruction logistics or bid scopes as needed.

  • Proven background building multi-family housing.
  • Must be able to provide a multi-family project list showcasing relevant experience.
  • 10-Hour OSHA Construction Certification.
  • Active CPR and First Aid Certification.
