Job description

WTTW (Chicago PBS) and WFMT (classical music radio station) are seeking an Occasional Part-time Mailroom & Building Services Assistant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

       Drive company vehicle to pick up and drop off mail from the Post Office

       Receive and process loading dock deliveries

       Pick up sweepstakes from caller window - seasonal pick up schedule

       Log in overnight deliveries and sort and distribute mail/packages throughout the day

       Pick up and distribute inter-office mail

       Operate postage meter for outgoing mail and maintain postage allocations by dept.

       Handle all incoming and outgoing UPS, FedEx and Amazon packages

       On call for light cleaning/deliver cases of copier paper or water upon request

       Daily coffee machine maintenance - refill/empty coffee machine

       Assist with setup of rooms for meetings, parties, special events and pledge

       Moving of office furniture and misc. office equipment upon request

       Assist with misc. office services or courier runs upon request

       Recycle paper pick-up throughout the building per scheduled days

       Parking lot duties upon request

       Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:

       Flexible schedule

       Driver's License with good driving record

       Detail oriented with good communication skills

       Able to handle multiple tasks

       Able to retain pertinent information

       Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

       Must practice office discretion with sensitive information

SALARY RANGE: $18-22/hour
