Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is an American Sports and Entertainment holding company based in Denver, Colorado. Nature of Work:
Data smart engineer: Networking, IT systems integration skills, Windows, Mac and Linux experience
Examples of work performed:
  • First line of broadcast and production engineering support for master control, live productions, studio control, edit suites, VOD, streaming, etc.
  • Maintains, repairs, replaces, configures, and upgrades hardware and software related to broadcast and production systems.
  • Execute signal/source routing and patching throughout the broadcast facility.
  • Assist in preventative and routine maintenance of HVAC, Electrical, Fire, Security, Elevator
  • Contributes to project designs and build-outs
  • Prepare and update as-built, signal flow and facility documentation.

Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • General office equipment to include phone, fax, computer/keyboard, copier, etc.
  • Meters, soldering equipment, lifts, ladders, power and hand tools, test and measurement equipment, etc.
  • Stand and lifting up to 4 hours, and 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work shifts overnight, swing, weekends, and holidays in support of a 24x7x365 broadcast environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum
    • HS Diploma
    • 2-4 years Television broadcast experience, specialized electronics training certification or degree in electronics or broadcasting
  • Preferred
    • College Degree BA/BS preferred
    • Technology Certification
    • 2-4 years studio or live TV production experience

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Understanding of IT systems and principles: Primarily network security, storage management and policy, database management, and user account administration
  • Solid working knowledge of automation systems related to network broadcast operations.
  • Working knowledge of satellite uplink/downlink, transmission and conditional access systems including communicating with affiliates to troubleshoot and correct IRD devices.
  • Knowledge of live production hardware and software including, but not limited to, large format routers, switchers, audio consoles, EVS, EFP/studio cameras and lighting systems.
  • Communicate constructively, both verbally and written to ensure tasking is successfully completed.

Compensation
  • Base $25 - $32/hour
