Job Summary

The primary role of the Assistant Branch Manager is to assist the Branch Manager in carrying out all branch duties and responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions
  • Ensures the operational integrity, including compliance in all policies and procedures.
  • Assists Branch Managers in directing and carrying out all sales activities and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all bank products and services.
  • Ensures that bank policies and procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for communicating and implementing changes to policies and procedures.
  • Ensures branch physical security: dual control, audits, compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Appropriately uses signing authority and overrides.
  • Supervises the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager. Performs other duties assigned.
Job Requirements
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 2 years of retail banking experience and strong knowledge of branch operations
  • Ability to focus on task and be detail oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Computer skills to include work in windows based applications
Abilities Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong and effective planning and organizational skills
Desired Skills
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills
  • College degree or relevant work experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a logical succinct format, verbally or in writing
