Zuern Building Products is a family-owned and operated building material supplier and design company. We have five expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown. We take pride in our tradition of providing high quality building materials and valuable services to our customers. We are "Building on Service".


Zuern Building Products is currently seeking CDL Drivers -Boom Operator to join our Allenton team. Ideal candidate is a motivated self- starter with a strong work ethic. Must have a clean driving record and be able to operate a forklift, moffet and boom. The candidate must be willing to perform manual labor.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  1. Follow all Fed and State Regulations on CDL's.
  2. Assist in loading vehicles for delivery.
  3. Responsible for safe drop off and unloading of product (sales and returns included).
  4. Tie down inspections before leaving the yard.
  5. Must have a good sense of direction and ability to navigate a map.
  6. Ability to handle traffic and basic weather conditions.
  7. Forklift certification required.
  8. Check invoices for load accuracy.
  9. Assist in loading customer orders for pick up when necessary.
  10. Assist with cleanliness of facility with respect to equipment, inventory, buildings and yard.
  11. Attention to safety procedures at all times.
  12. Working as a team.
  13. Other duties upon request by manager.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Current CDL License with good driving record
  2. 2+ years of industry experience
  3. Strong verbal communicator
  4. Excellent customer service skills
  5. Repetitive lifting of up to 35 pounds, 70 pounds occasionally and the ability to bend and twist
  6. Basic reading, writing and math comprehension
