# General ManagerJushiFull-TimeLeadership & ManagementliveLocationSanta Barbara, CASanta Barbara, CATypeFull-Time## About This Role## General Manager — Jushi (BEYOND / HELLO) | Santa Barbara, CAJushi is hiring a General Manager for its Santa Barbara, California dispensary, operating under the BEYOND / HELLO retail banner. This is a full-service leadership role at one of the more active multi-state operators in the cannabis space — you're running the whole store, not just managing a section of it.### What You're Actually RunningAs GM, you own the full P&L behavior of the dispensary: team hiring and development, inventory accuracy, compliance with California state regulations, cash handling, vendor relationships, and the customer/patient experience from the door to the register. Jushi expects its GMs to operate as the face of the brand in the local community while also executing at the systems level.Core responsibilities include:- Hiring, onboarding, training, and developing a passionate dispensary team- Managing daily inventory audits, seed-to-sale compliance (MJ Freeway), and end-of-month reconciliations- Maintaining scheduling, overhead controls, and expense management within budget- Building vendor relationships and managing purchase orders and delivery receipts- Guiding patients and customers on product selection, effects, potency, dosing, and consumption methods- Handling employee and customer concerns diplomatically; interfacing with Regional Dispensary Manager and Marketing team- Supporting community outreach and off-hours events### Salary RangeNot listed. Verify at application.### Qualifications Required- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred- Minimum five years combined experience in dispensary, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service- Experience with POS systems, web browsers, and credit card processing terminals- Comfortable with high-volume cash handling and complex math under pressure- 21+ required; must pass background check; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays### Growth PathJushi GMs have a defined path into regional leadership. Regional Dispensary Manager is the direct next step, with upward mobility into Director of Retail Operations across Jushi's multistate footprint. Given Jushi's expansion pace — new cultivation, manufacturing, and retail licenses across multiple states — this is not a dead-end posting.### Region NotesSanta Barbara is an underserved cannabis retail market relative to LA or the Bay. Adult-use dispensaries operate in a tight regulatory environment within Santa Barbara County, but foot traffic is real and the consumer base skews educated and wellness-oriented. A strong GM here can build a loyal customer base faster than in a saturated LA market.### How to Stand OutFive years of relevant experience is the floor, not the ceiling. Jushi looks for people with a demonstrated track record of developing teams, not just managing them — show examples of staff you've trained into leadership roles.
