About the Role
We are a pre-launch mobile service provider building a customer-focused technical support team. We are seeking motivated, tech-savvy individuals who are excited to grow with a fast-scaling organization.
This role begins as a frontline Technical Support Specialist position, with the opportunity to transition into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role as the company expands. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for cell phone hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot mobile devices, operating systems, and network environments
  • Assist customers with device setup, applications, account inquiries, and connectivity issues
  • Accurately document all customer interactions
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and support workflows
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Serve as an escalation point and technical resource for agents
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of call center experience
  • Strong technical support background troubleshooting:
    • Mobile devices (cell phones/tablets)
    • Mobile applications
    • Hardware and software issues
    • Network and connectivity issues
  • Knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems
  • Understanding of mobile networks, Wi-Fi, data connectivity, and device settings
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating SOPs, training materials, or knowledge base content
  • Telecommunications or startup experience is an asset
