Job description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Puerto Rico (In-Person or Remote)
Autumn ABA – Expanding Services to Puerto Rico

Autumn ABA is seeking an experienced and qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) fluent in Spanish and English to join our team as we expand services into Puerto Rico. We are an established ABA therapy provider currently operating throughout New Jersey, and we are now laying the groundwork to provide in-home ABA services to children diagnosed with autism in Puerto Rico.

We are looking for a BCBA who is passionate about the field, eager to grow with a new company, and excited about the opportunity to help shape ABA services in Puerto Rico.

About the Position:

This is a ground-level opportunity to become part of the expansion team. Initially, while we are completing Medicaid and insurance credentialing and contracting, the BCBA will assist with administrative support, translation (Spanish/English), and navigating local systems and regulations—for which you will be paid hourly, even before client services begin.

Once credentialing is completed and we begin accepting referrals, you will take on clinical responsibilities including assessments, treatment planning, supervision, and parent training. Services may be provided in-person or via telehealth, depending on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with administrative and credentialing tasks, including language support for Spanish-language portals and communications.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing tools such as VB-MAPP or other appropriate assessments.

  • Supervise, train, and support Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to ensure quality services and treatment fidelity.

  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to maximize client outcomes.

  • Participate in the ongoing development and growth of ABA services in Puerto Rico.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Active BCBA certification.

  • Bilingual: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

  • If already licensed as an LBA in Puerto Rico—preferred but not required (we can assist with the licensing process if needed).

  • Experience in the field of ABA therapy with strong clinical and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to assist with non-clinical start-up tasks while credentialing is finalized.

  • Excitement to grow with a new agency in a leadership capacity as services expand.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay: $75 per billable hour

  • Pay $50-$60 per administrative work

  • Flexible schedule: Full-time or part-time options available.

  • Paid administrative hours during pre-launch phase.

  • Referral program.

  • Opportunities for future leadership roles as the agency grows.

Schedule:
  • Flexible—services may include mornings, after-school hours, evenings, and/or weekends as client needs arise.

  • Telehealth or in-person service options.

Join Autumn ABA and be part of something new and impactful as we bring high-quality ABA services to children and families in Puerto Rico. Apply today to be part of our mission!
