Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly professional and customer‐focused Multimedia AV Technician & Client Support Specialist with demonstrated experience in a corporate environment. This role requires a strong blend of audiovisual technical expertise, client service excellence, and scheduling coordination. The successful candidate will consistently demonstrate refined, business‐appropriate communication skills in both written and face‐to‐face interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Support

  • Provide exemplary customer service through in‐person interactions, email correspondence, and Slack communications.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to service requests, ensuring clear and timely updates to stakeholders.

AV Operations & Live Streaming

  • Set up, operate, and maintain cameras, microphones, lighting, and all related recording equipment in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Produce high‐quality live streams and recordings with proper composition, technical accuracy, and optimal audio performance.
  • Upload and distribute recorded media on the same day for post‐production or organizational use.
  • Conduct routine room readiness checks and complete thorough pre‐meeting AV testing.

Scheduling & Site Coverage

  • Manage and maintain AV support schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all meetings and events.
  • Provide reliable on‐site support Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
  • Submit time‐off requests through Workday with appropriate advance notice in line with corporate guidelines.

Meetings & Event Support

  • Coordinate with meeting hosts and review EMS details to confirm technical requirements.
  • Support MPR events for their full duration, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Partner with Events, Facilities, Product, and Collaboration teams to support large‐scale initiatives and cross‐functional efforts.

Ticketing & Troubleshooting

  • Create and maintain INC and PRB tickets related to Zoom Room and AV issues.
  • Collaborate with AV Engineering to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Monitor Zoom Room portals daily and document any deviations, incidents, or required interventions.

Documentation

  • Develop, update, and maintain knowledge‐base articles, technical guides, and reference materials.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, current, and accessible to the broader AV team.

Virtual Zoom Support

  • Assist employees with webinar planning, configuration, and setup.
  • Join sessions in advance to verify audio, video, and feature readiness for hosts and panelists.

Soft Skills & Attributes
