Essential Functions

  • Design and develop technical software solutions.
  • Write and perform testing, assist in determining the scope for testing requirements agreed-upon by the team or business unit.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements for new and existing systems and platforms.
  • Use a systematic approach to debug issues located within a single application.ย 
  • Understand a portion of the team's applications and gain sufficient context to work productively in that portion.ย 
  • Design functions that are aligned with the overall service architecture.
  • Understand the importance of security and utilize this knowledge to ask more senior engineers for help on making decisions that may have security implications.
  • Document each aspect of a system's application.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and customers to ensure effective and efficient implementation of solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or a related area
  • 3 months of software development experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, Spring Boot Framework, React, AngularJS, TypeScript, Robot Framework and test automation
  • 3 months of Enterprise development in an Agile environment
  • 3 months of Relational database experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • 3 months experience with SOAP and REST web services
  • 3 months experience with defect tracking software and all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
