We are currently seeking a full-time Field Engineer for our Pompano Beach, FL Location.


This person will need to be able to commission installed Audio Enhancement products, train how to use it, and manage contractors installing equipment. Needs to have excellent customer service skills as this position will be meeting with project managers, internal and external, upper staff within school districts. May also help walking schools to help quote and design projects.


Duties include:

  • Installation of servers and head-end hardware.
  • Assist the Sales Engineering team with site surveys as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Identifying network related issues on customers networks involving Audio Enhancement products.
  • Provide support in the field and complete commissioning projects.
  • Significant overnight travel is required - at least 75%.

Requirements

  • Strong AV and networking knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills to work with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot over the phone, remote sessions, or email.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team, collaborating to find solutions.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong trouble shooting skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Compensation and Benefits:


Hourly Wages Negotiable based on skill level and experience. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, Employer-funded Health Savings Account (HSA), Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, Employer-funded Short Term Disability Insurance, Employer-funded Life Insurance, matching 401k.
