ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the head coach in planning and leading practices, instructing athletes in event specific techniques, and implementing individualized performance plans.

  Makes recommendations to the head coach for purchasing equipment.

  The coach will at all times conduct themselves in a manner that will set a good example for students to follow on and off the field.

  Effectively communicate with the athletic director, head coach, parents, players, and administrators.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Prior successful coaching experience at the high school level.

  First Aid and CPR certification is required for coaching. Bus driver certification preferred. 

A proven track record with age appropriate skill and program development is preferred.

Knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. 

Relates well with students and other high school programs to promote school and community spirit.
