Job Summary

The Medical Assistant Apprentice role is designed to provide hands-on training and practical experience in a clinical healthcare setting, preparing the apprentice to become a competent and confident medical assistant. Medical Assistant Apprentice is a learning role where the employee observes and performs a variety of patient care and administrative duty under direct supervision in the course of on-the-job training to become a Medical Assistant I.

Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirement(s) - Acceptance into WACMHC sponsored MA Apprenticeship Program, DOH Approved HIV/AIDS training, and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
