Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant serves as a key financial partner, working closely with the Regional Controller and collaborating with regional and site leadership teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support operational decision‑making, and drive financial performance. This position is responsible for managing general ledger activities, supporting the month‑end close process, performing account reconciliations, preparing financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data to support business operations and management decision‑making
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc analyses
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
  • Assist with consolidation and intercompany accounting activities
  • Partner with operational and regional leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Support annual audits and provide required documentation to external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting regulations, and corporate policies
  • Utilize Sage 500 ERP and other financial systems to manage accounting and reporting functions
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and financial controls
