  • Team leadership and development: Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members, including Accounting Managers, Senior Accountants, and Staff Accountants, as assigned. • Soft skills: Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, effective communicator, and collaborative team player.
  • Compliance and systems: Experience setting up and maintaining entities, projects, cost codes, workflows, and reporting structures within accounting systems; ability to troubleshoot accounting platform issues and coordinate with internal users, system administrators, and external support resources.
  • Preferred competencies: Experience with construction draws, lender reporting, project cost reviews, audit support, internal control documentation, and process standardization in a growing multi-entity organization.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA, CMA or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with preference for candidates who have experience in construction accounting, real estate development accounting, multi-entity accounting, LIHTC development, or project-based financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Sage, Yardi Voyager, Procore, or comparable accounting, property management, and project management systems is preferred.
