Job description


A manufacturing company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow revenue across key markets. You'll be responsible for developing sales strategies, expanding customer relationships, supporting product direction, and identifying new business opportunities. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position is remote with 60% to 80% travel required. You need to be able to have a passport.
Responsibilities:
  • Grow regional sales by identifying and securing new business opportunities and execute strategies to increase market share and profitability
  • Own the sales planning process; from targeting and forecasting to deal execution and closing
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders and lead commercial negotiations to secure profitable, long-term agreements
  • Gather customer and market feedback to inform product development and enhancements, support product positioning and messaging strategies aligned with market needs
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product teams to prioritize customer requirements and influence the product roadmap
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, and operations. and align on pipeline, forecasting, and business performance
  • Set and manage sales goals, drive urgency and accountability for results, and ensure alignment with company values and strategic goals
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must have an Engineer Degree and 10+ years of proven sales success in industrial or technical markets
  • Must have AC Motor Industry experience
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies is needed
  • Experience with electric motors and drives for industrial use and a background in OEM and Distribution channel sales is preferred
  • Product management experience, especially in gathering market insights, influencing product development, and experience leveraging data analytics tools for forecasting and insightful market analysis is preferred
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Must have a strong customer focus with the ability to build executive-level relationships
  • Must have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, while being detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills with a high personal initiative and ownership of outcomes
