Job description

Survey Project Manager / Project PLS

We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager / Project PLS to lead efforts on a multi-year heavy civil construction project based in Greenville, SC. This role involves full project oversight, including project management, invoicing, and coordination with the siteโ€™s general contractor and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include reviewing survey work orders, scheduling crews, documenting re-stake requests, and maintaining both field and office survey procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables.

Youโ€™ll also play a critical role in identifying and recruiting key personnel, as well as mentoring and training survey staff to support their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional licensed surveying experience
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of South Carolina
  • Proficiency with Trimble Access and Trimble Business Center (TBC)
  • Experience with ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys and complex boundary analysis
  • Demonstrated success supporting business development and client relationship management
  • Knowledge of current surveying technologies, principles, and best practices
  • Ability to mentor and lead staff within a collaborative environment
