Asset Inventory Analyst

Pay Rate: $21-24/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Summary

The Asset Inventory Analyst supports the accurate tracking, verification, and reporting of organizational assets and inventory. This role assists with physical inventories, system updates, discrepancy research, reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting activities while helping maintain strong internal controls and accurate records.

Essential Duties

  • Record, track, and update asset and inventory information.
  • Conduct physical inventories, barcode scanning, and asset verification.
  • Review and process purchase order, transfer, disposal, and inventory transactions.
  • Research and resolve inventory or accounting discrepancies.
  • Review account coding and asset documentation for accuracy.
  • Monitor new property receipts and surplus or excess inventory.
  • Maintain inventory records, documentation, and internal controls.
  • Prepare reports on inventory findings and discrepancies.
  • Provide support for inventory systems and scanning equipment.
  • Assist with coordinating on-site inventory activities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or completion of at least two years of college coursework.
  • 3+ years of experience in asset management, inventory control, accounting, or related work.
  • Experience with inventory systems, asset tracking, barcode scanning, and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to research discrepancies and maintain accurate documentation.
