Vice President of Development & Asset Strategy

CRi (Community Residences, Inc.) is seeking an experienced and visionary executive leader to serve as our next Vice President of Development & Asset Strategy. This senior leadership role will help drive organizational sustainability, strategic growth, philanthropic advancement, and long-term asset stewardship across a dynamic and mission-centered nonprofit organization.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President will partner closely with executive leadership, Boards, donors, community stakeholders, and operational leaders to strengthen CRi's impact, expand strategic opportunities, and advance innovative solutions that support individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and strategic leader who is passionate about nonprofit growth, community impact, and organizational sustainability.
What You'll Lead
Strategic Leadership
  • Serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide planning, growth strategy, and organizational decision-making
  • Lead initiatives that support long-term sustainability and mission advancement

Fundraising & Philanthropy
  • Provide executive oversight for fundraising and donor engagement strategies
  • Strengthen philanthropic partnerships and community relationships
  • Support development initiatives including major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships

Business Development & Growth
  • Identify and evaluate strategic growth opportunities and partnerships
  • Support service expansion initiatives aligned with CRi's mission and operational capacity
  • Collaborate with leadership on innovative organizational development strategies

Communications & Community Engagement
  • Strengthen CRi's public presence, branding, and stakeholder engagement
  • Support communication strategies that enhance visibility and community partnerships
  • Serve as an ambassador for CRi within the community and industry

Asset & Property Strategy
  • Provide strategic oversight for CRi's residential and commercial property portfolio
  • Support long-range facilities and infrastructure planning
  • Align asset management strategies with operational and organizational priorities

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Communications, Real Estate, or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive executive leadership experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, strategic development, business development, asset management, or related areas
  • Demonstrated success leading fundraising and philanthropic initiatives
  • Strong strategic planning, financial, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with Boards, donors, government stakeholders, and community partners
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
