Job description

Description We are searching for our next Asset Management Technician to assist our Public Works department with coordinating and initiating the City's Facilities Asset Management program, including building condition assessments, inventories, service requests, and work orders. This is an administrative role that works on the backend of our operations division to keep our Facilities, Planning, and Maintenance areas functioning and effective. This position will also have an emphasis in sidewalk and stormwater data collection.

Qualifications and Requirements Experience, Education, and Training Requires two years of college or vocational/technical training with at least 24 credit hours in any combination of the following areas: Planning and research, statistical analysis, mathematics, pre-engineering or engineering technology, industrial technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field; AND Two years experience with general computer experience using a variety of software packages; Directly related experience in Infrastructure Management, Asset Management or related fields may be substituted for the educational requirement.
