THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
SciensBuilding Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager who is a positive change agent and can drivehighcustomersatisfactionwhile leading a branch team, includingengineering, project execution and service departments,along witha back-office team to supporta business that is experiencing exciting growth.This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience managing a team in the firealarm and securityindustry, and is ready to assume ownership of a branch operations rolewhile being part of a vibrant national organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

  • Responsible to ensure all associates embrace the safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.

  • Manage the engineering, project management, and service departments for the assigned Division.

  • Supervise, train, and develop all branch associates includingdesigners, project managers,technicians, project coordinators, supervisors, dispatchers, and administrative staff.

  • Responsible for the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of install, service, warranty, and emergency jobs.

  • Responsible fordeveloping a budget andmeeting revenue and gross margin targets.

  • Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors toexecuteplans, programs and processes designed to meet or exceed goals and maximize market potential.

  • Responsible for delivering projects within the original budgeted cost.

  • Responsible for executing monthly project cost and Workin Progress (WIP) analysis.Reports the information in an effective manner to management, and takes corrective action as needed.

  • Responsible for efficient asset management, such as inventory and company service vehicles.

  • Responsible for building a high-performance culture to include annual performance reviews and development initiatives.

  • Responsible for manpower planning and allocation.

  • Responsible in part for customer satisfaction and cash collections.

  • Worksclosely with the sales team to support the growth and profitability of the branch.

  • Responsible for control and calibration of inspection, measuring, and testingequipment.
