Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in West Palm Beach, FL that is seeking a proactive and creative individual to join our team as a Content & Communications Specialist. This role is responsible for gathering information from stakeholders and subject matter experts, documenting processes and standards, and transforming complex information into clear, engaging, and visually appealing content. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a keen eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for helping teams share knowledge effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members to collect information and document business processes, standards, and best practices
* Develop clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation that enhances the department's knowledge base
* Tailor content to match the audience, communication goals, and objectives
* Create and edit articles highlighting team accomplishments, initiatives, or projects, based on interviews and gathered insights
* Apply appropriate taxonomy and metadata to organize content intuitively and ensure consistency
* Contribute to achieving team KPIs by producing content that drives engagement, awareness, participation, and knowledge sharing
* Design professional graphics, visuals, and infographics to support documentation and articles
* Create content for internal social media channels, digital signage, and other internal communications platforms
* Develop short videos and visual assets to promote key messages and initiatives
* Ensure all visuals adhere to the organization's brand, style guide, and graphic specifications
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to promote knowledge sharing and awareness of departmental initiatives
* Coordinate and support internal events and campaigns that promote learning, engagement, and collaboration
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience creating written and visual content for internal communications, documentation, marketing, or knowledge-sharing purposes
* Strong writing, editing, and interviewing skills
* Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
* Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
* Experience with Figma or similar design tools is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
