## Asset ManagerApplylocations: Columbus, Ohiotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: September 5, 2026 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: 20260515-10994# **Job Description:****POSITION PURPOSE:** The Real Estate Asset Manager is responsible for creating and overseeing customized asset management strategies for multi-family LIHTC and HUD communities owned by National Church Residences.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES*** Maximize total return for each assigned asset through the analysis of property efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance* Work closely with property managers and Regional Managers to provide direction for and oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, analysis and approvals* Conduct market studies of competing properties to determine market competitive rents* Manage cash flow, distribution analysis and investment projections* Develop and distribute periodic asset management reports to senior management, investors, consultants and other partners* Position each asset for optimal financial performance through such activities as budgeting and monitoring financial performance**PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS*** Financial and operational performance measures of the assigned portfolio* Accuracy, relevancy and timeliness of reporting and communication with management and third-party partners* Success in achieving owner goals including distributions and long term viability of property* Success of problem identification and resolution* Quality of relationships with managing agents, limited partners, lenders, housing agencies and HUD.**QUALIFICATIONS****Education/Certification:*** BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field with strong record of academic achievement with MBA or CPA preferred**Experience Required:*** Level 1: Experience in property management/leasing/operations and/or real estate asset management**Skills/Abilities:** * Proficiency with modeling investments in Excel* Understanding of Partnership Agreements and Low Income Housing Tax Credits* Understanding of accounting and financial modeling* Solid analytical and organizational skills and ability to multi-task* Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem solving approach* Self directed and self-managing **PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
