Become a WARF Technology Transfer Intern!
Learn from a premier tech transfer organization by interning with WARF and you will:
  • Learn about patents, licensing, and career opportunities within technology transfer
  • Gain insights into the processes of one of the world's leading technology transfer organizations
  • Actively participate in the technology transfer process
  • Build your network of technology transfer professionals and peers

Responsibilities
  • Assist team with various licensing and intellectual property (IP) related projects
  • Participate in outreach activities on campus and with potential commercial partners
  • Conduct market research and further analysis on selected patents or innovations

Internship Details
This team member should be available to work remotely or in the office 5-10 hours per week during normal business hours. We are hoping the internship could begin this fall and continue through summer of 2027.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a graduate degree or postdoc within a scientific or technical discipline
  • Ability to work under general direction and collaboratively with others
  • Commitment to accuracy, detail management, and confidentiality
  • Aptitude to handle multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and display the WARF values of innovation, teamwork, and accountability
