Direct Counsel represents a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a Mid-Level/Senior Asset Management & Investment Funds Associate to join its Asset Management and Investment Funds Practice.

Locations: Boston, MA | New York, NY | Washington, DC

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 4–7 years of experience advising clients in the registered funds, private funds, and investment management space.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on asset management, investment funds, and regulatory matters
  • Counsel registered funds, private funds, investment advisers, and asset managers on compliance and governance issues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate fund formation and operational documents
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to securities and investment management regulations
  • Work directly with clients on complex regulatory and transactional matters
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver strategic legal solutions

Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission and good standing
  • 4–7 years of experience in asset management, investment funds, registered funds, private funds, or related regulatory matters
