Senior Associate, Mascot Asset Management

TheSenior Associate, Mascot Asset Management will serve as the central hub for all mascot-related assets across the LA28 ecosystem.This role sits at the intersection of creative production, brand governance, and operational delivery - ensuring that mascot assets are developed, versioned, and deployedaccurately and efficientlyacross internal teams, venues, and partners. This role will partner closely with our externalcreativevendorandinternal functional teamsto manage a high volume ofassetssupportingpre-Gamesand Games-time executionat scale.ย 

The Senior Associate, Mascot Asset Management reports to the Director - Brand Strategy, Mascot, & Educationย 

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Development & Agency Partnershipย 

  • Assist in management of activities withย external studioย vendorย producing mascot assets (graphic, animated, and costume)ย 
  • Manage asset intake, feedbackcycles, approvals, and final deliveryacross multiple workstreamsย 
  • Ensure all assets meet brand and technical standardsย 

Asset Management& Governanceย 

  • Implementย and maintainLA28's library of digital mascot assetsย 
  • Assist in the management ofย the establishment and ongoing adherence tonaming conventions, version control, tagging systemsย 
  • Ensureinternalteamsand partnersare accessing approved, up-to-date assets onlyย 

Cross-Functional Coordination:ย 

  • Assist in the management ofย requests fromย internal teamsย forย mascot assets across functionalย areasย such asย Comms, Digital Marketing, Partnerships, and Look & Signageย 
  • Translate creative needs into clear asset requirements and timelinesย 

Venue & Production Integration:ย 

  • Partner with Sports Presentation and Venue teams todefine technical specs forin-venue displays (screens, jumbotrons, andother formats)ย 
  • Coordinate with Look & Signage teams on asset adaptation and implementation across physical environmentsย 

Workflow, Tracking & Reporting:ย 

  • Help build and manage scalable workflows for asset creation, approval, and distributionย 
  • Administer and reportย tracking systems for assets in progress, asset requests from internal functional teams, delivery timelines, and usage across venues and teamsย 
Background & Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of creative workflows, asset lifecycles,and file formatsย 
  • Proven ability to managehigh volumes of assets acrossmultiple stakeholders and deadlinesย 
  • Exceptional organizational and project managementskillsย with strong attention to detailย 
  • Proficiencyย in verbal and written communications, with comfort in authentic and creative writingย 
  • Ability to synthesize information and build decks from scratchย 
Position Requirements:Education:
  • Bachelor's degreeor equivalent relevant work experienceย 
Expectations:
  • Minimumย 4+yearsofexperience in creative asset management, production, or creative operationsย 
  • Experience workingin an agency environment or working withย external creative partners on large-scale campaignsย 
  • Proficiencyย inย Microsoftย Office Suite (Outlook, Excel,ย Word,ย PowerPoint)ย or equivalentย ย 
  • Experience usingย collaborative asset management toolsย (suchย asย Sharepoint,ย Box, Smartsheet)ย

  • The positionย is located in Los Angeles with in-person attendance required

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $95,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
