Job description

The position will support the asset management of the $12B+ national industrial portfolio including execution of management, leasing, development, construction and operational objectives. Seeks to achieve superior returns on real estate assets through active management and leasing while operating in a highly collaborative environment with general supervision of Senior Directors and Associates in Industrial Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support Industrial team in oversight of financial, operational, leasing and capital matters for the national industrial portfolio and individual fund mandates.
  • Prepare and execute the analysis of leasing transaction economics to support decision-making process of Industrial Asset Managers.
  • Management and oversight of Argus Enterprise files and analyses reflecting the ongoing financial operating activity of individual industrial assets
  • Participate in the timely production of reports that keep Industrial Asset Managers, Clients and Executive Leadership team members apprised of changes in property fundamentals, portfolio performance and competitive positioning.
  • Support Industrial team in the preparation of annual asset plans, operating budgets and capital budgets as well as monitor actual performance against these budgets throughout the year. Assist in the production of annual sell/hold assessments and assist in presenting recommendations to Portfolio Management and third party investors.
  • Coordinate on a quarterly basis with internal and third party appraisers.
  • Coordinate weekly with third party services providers including property management, property accounting, leasing legal and leasing teams.
  • Coordinate daily with middle office for third party management, acquisition on-boarding and disposition off-boarding.

  • CPA or CPA candidate a plus
  • Strong analytical thinker and quantitative skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with third party leasing brokers and property management service providers
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate fundamentals and terminology

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
