IT Retail Services Inventory Control Coordinator

About the Role
Kwik Trip is seeking a detail-oriented IT Retail Services Inventory Control Coordinator I to support the inventory, distribution, and deployment of technology equipment used throughout our retail locations and support center. This role combines inventory management, warehouse operations, asset tracking, hardware configuration, and customer service to ensure technology equipment is available, organized, and deployed efficiently.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in information technology, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, and hardware support.
What You'll Do
  • Receive, process, and organize technology equipment from vendors, retail locations, and support center coworkers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through asset tracking, transfers, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
  • Prepare technology equipment for deployment through imaging, configuration, asset tagging, packaging, and shipping.
  • Configure and deploy computers, Apple devices, point-of-sale equipment, printers, handheld devices, payment terminals, networking equipment, and other technology hardware.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform minor hardware repairs when appropriate.
  • Fulfill equipment requests while providing outstanding customer service to internal business partners.
  • Track inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities to ensure equipment availability.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse, receiving, shipping, and storage areas.
  • Support e-waste recycling and responsible disposal of retired technology equipment.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or asset management.
  • Experience working with technology hardware and peripherals.

  • Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification.

Work Schedule
  • Part-time, 20-30 hours per week
  • Daytime hours primarily scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with alternating weekends
  • Rotating holiday schedule required
  • Additional hours may be required based on business needs
  • Flexible scheduling available for college students to accommodate class schedules
