Job Title: Operations & Project Coordination Lead
Role Overview
We are seeking an Operations & Project Coordination Lead to serve as the engine behind our most critical project workflows. You will function as a hybrid partner: supporting senior project managers on large-scale initiatives while independently leading your own workstreams from initiation through final delivery.
This is a high-visibility role for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, commercial environment. You will be responsible for the "tactical execution"-ensuring that milestones are hit, risks are identified before they become problems, and project communications remain clear and consistent. Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
• Project Oversight: Independently manage assigned projects while providing high-level support to the wider PM team on enterprise initiatives.
• Milestone Tracking: Own the project schedule. Track requirements, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring the team stays on path and within scope.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare and maintain comprehensive status reports. Develop and execute communication plans that keep internal and external stakeholders aligned and informed.
Process Optimization
• Continuous Improvement: Actively identify bottlenecks in our project management workflows. Propose and implement process optimizations that increase speed and team efficiency.
• Risk Management: Assess project risks in real-time. Make informed decisions and escalate issues with recommended solutions to ensure project success.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot project challenges, moving beyond "firefighting" to develop preventative solutions that reduce recurring issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Associate degree in Business/Engineering (or related) OR a High School diploma with at least 3-5 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Experience Baseline: 3-5+ years in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
• Methodology: Working knowledge of formal project management frameworks (PMI/PMBOK or similar).
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced command of Microsoft Office and standard project tracking tools.
Preferred Attributes
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• PMI/PMP certification (or actively pursuing).
• Understanding of Lean methodologies and a proven track record of process improvement.
• Exceptional "client-facing" skills-you are comfortable leading meetings with external partners and managing high-stakes professional relationships.
