Safety Assessment Processing Coordinator: Rockford, Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join their team. We're recruiting a Safety Assessment Processing Coordinator to support the review, processing, and coordination of safety assessment data.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Safety Assessment Processing Coordinator:
  • Review safety assessment documentation for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Verify that required data, photos, and supporting documentation have been properly submitted.
  • Follow up with Field Auditors to resolve missing, unclear, or inconsistent information.
  • Prepare assessment packages for Engineering to support quote development.
  • Track assessments and quote schedules to ensure timely turnaround and completion.
  • Serve as a liaison between Engineering, Sales, and Field Auditors regarding assessment-related questions.
  • Maintain accurate records within PDM and other workflow management systems.
  • Organize and manage digital files, documentation, and workflow tracking tools.
  • Monitor workloads, prioritize tasks, and escalate delays or bottlenecks as needed.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and identify workflow efficiencies.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Safety Assessment Processing Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, project coordination, or technical support role.
  • Experience supporting engineering, safety, construction, or technical teams preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with technical documentation and systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with PDM, ERP, CRM, or workflow management systems preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and internal processes.
Pay for Safety Assessment Processing Coordinator: Starting at $19.50-$22.50/hour.
