Job Description:
Manufacturing Associate Location: [Fowlerville/MI] Pay: $17.00 - $18.00/hr (Shift dependent) + $1,000 in Attendance Bonuses Shift Schedules & Pay 1st Shift: 6am/7am start | $17.00 2nd Shift: 2pm/3pm start | $17.75 3rd Shift: 10pm/11pm start | $18.00 The Role As a Manufacturing Associate, you will operate machinery and assemble components for machined valve bodies. You will be responsible for ensuring quality through visual inspection and precision testing. Key Responsibilities: Assembly & Machining: Operate CNC equipment, assembly machinery, and hand tools to build and finish products. Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and use gauges/micrometers to ensure parts meet technical blueprints. Logistics: Move materials using pallet trucks, pack/unpack components, and maintain accurate production records. Maintenance: Keep your workstation clean and safe. Requirements Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required (we will train!). Skills: Ability to read technical materials and follow detailed instructions. Schedule: Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as needed (up to 12hrs/day, 7 days/week). Screening: Must pass an oral drug screen and criminal background check. Physical Demands Continuous standing, walking, and repetitive gripping/grasping. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs continuously and 50 lbs occasionally. Fine motor skills for adjusting small parts and machinery. Ability to wear all required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, hair/beard nets).
