Job description

The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling standard and custom panels, sub-assemblies, and systems. This role involves working on intricate cables and electrical assemblies, following schematics and work instructions. Job Details:
  • Location: Jefferson Hills, PA
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Division/Department: Process Equipment Division/Assembly
  • Reports To: U.S Assembly Manager

Key JobResponsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electro-mechanical systems and subassemblies
  • Mount, align, and fasten mechanical and electrical components per drawings and specifications
  • Perform system wiring in accordance with electrical schematics and established standards
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment to assemble and modify parts (e.g., drilling, tapping, countersinking)
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of electrical assemblies
  • Ensure proper fit, alignment, and labeling of all components
  • Assemble panel components following mechanical layouts with zero defects
  • Safely operate standard tools and portable equipment
  • Support minor on-site service work as needed
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and SPIRIT values
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability tolift upto 30 pounds
  • 3 - 5 years related work experience
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 30 lbs. unassisted. Assistance must be used for any items over this weight. Assistance is always required for anything weighing over 60 lbs.

Preferred
  • 3 - 5 years related experience with vocational or further educational trainingrelated to electrical engineering technology
