Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical Assembly Technician
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:
Adecco is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to perform a variety of complex assembly and troubleshooting tasks. This role is responsible for building high-quality products, conducting testing, and preparing finished goods for shipment to customers. The ideal candidate has strong technical experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety policies and consistently practice safe work habits

  • Assemble complex electrical and mechanical systems using detailed drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions

  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete assemblies

  • Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, drilling, and punching as needed

  • Set up and conduct functional testing of assemblies

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues

  • Complete and document quality inspections and testing

  • Meet production schedules by organizing and completing tasks efficiently

  • Handle materials and prepare products for shipment, including packaging and crating

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment upkeep

  • Accurately record time and materials for production reporting

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

  • Assist with cross-training and support less experienced team members


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)

  • 3–5 years of experience in complex electrical and mechanical assembly

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows systems

  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

  • Willingness to work overtime on Fridays as needed

  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs multiple times per day and perform physical job duties
