Job description

Production Supervisor – Assembly

Major international and brand name company has an opportunity at their large manufacturing complex on the south side of the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area for a day shift Production Supervisor – Assembly. In this capacity will oversee and coordinate the activities of workers. Will provide guidance to subordinates to ensure a safe and productive work environment and be over between 20-40 production employees. Will advise higher level management on work related problems on the assembly line as well as their impact on productivity and/or the customer. Small group activities will be coordinated and will encourage Kaizen participation. Will implement and adhere to all ISO-9000 procedures. Will construct, plan implement, and perform follow-up on a preventative maintenance program for the assembly line. Weekly production review meetings will be participated in with the Unit Manager. Included here are some of the responsibilities of the role. There is relocation assistance available, 2% profit sharing potential as well as 5% bonus potential.
