Job Summary:

Our food production company is seeking a Picker to join our team. In this role, your tasks will include packing food on the assembly line, labeling packages with weight and product information, and placing the boxes on a pallet jack or hand cart. You will also stock your station with the materials you need for your shift and pull products that look defective. The main qualifications you need for this role are basic math and communication skills and the ability to keep up with our assembly line. You must also have the physical stamina to stand for long periods of time in an area with moderate noise and temperature levels.** **

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Execution:

  • Collect materials using work orders
  • Deliver materials to assigned machines
  • Move finished goods pallets to staging/shipping
  • Return unused materials to warehouse
  • Operate electric pallet jack or forklift (if trained/licensed)** **

System & Accuracy:

  • Document inventory movements in system
  • Check codes, expiry date, lot and quantity accuracy

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • MHE license required

Hiring Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8–10+ hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience of working with manufacturing systems desirable (1-2 years)
