Position Summary
The individual oversees manufacturing activities within is department. He manages production on the assembly line, assists the team to complete the modules and the daily projects. He is a top leader and ensures the daily workflow by providing the material and plans to the team in place.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assign the different workers in his team with production line tasks
  • Evaluates the different projects and incoming orders to properly set up the daily production line
  • Monitors productivity and quality on the line to optimize the production
  • Identify and resolve production line problems in a timely manner
  • Train and supervise new production line workers
  • Collaborates with the other departments on the assembly line to ensure that modules are completed in time
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and operational environment at all times
  • Complies with company policies and regulations and provides guidance to the workers accordingly
  • Motivates and encourages the employees in their daily tasks
  • Keeps a healthy communication between the production supervisor and the workers as a middleman
  • Read engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences
  • Arrange and examine stocks of sheet metal or parts to be processed to ensure that specifications are met
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Five (5) years or more of experience as an Assembler on different tasks
Computer Skills: None required
Certificates & Licenses: None required
  • Read engineering drawings
  • Perform work with precision and thoroughness
  • Supervisory role experience is an asset
  • Extensive knowledge of product specifications and standards
  • Find a solution or proactively deal with work-related issues
  • Versatile, autonomous, and responsible
