Job description

Assembly Technician We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in a warehouse-based production environment. All work is performed indoors using pneumatic lifts, handling equipment, and standardized processes to safely and efficiently assemble and install commercial door hardware. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, experience in assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, maintenance, or technical trades, and a strong attention to detail. Prior door hardware experience is helpful but not required - we provide hands-on, in-house training. What You'll Do
  • Assemble and install commercial door hardware (locks, closers, exit devices, hinges, etc.)
  • Perform repeatable, process-driven work similar to manufacturing or mechanical assembly
  • Use pneumatic lifts and material-handling equipment to position and work on doors safely
  • Read work instructions, templates, and project specifications
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Work as part of a production team to meet daily and weekly output goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What We're Looking For
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and fasteners
  • Experience in assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, fabrication, or similar hands-on roles
  • Ability to follow instructions, repeat processes, and maintain quality standards
  • Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, accurate work
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to lift and maneuver materials with mechanical assistance

Previous door hardware experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right candidate. Schedule & Work Environment
  • Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime)
