Job description

Pure Air Filtration, LLC ("Company") is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleanwater1, Inc., a global provider of on-site hypochlorite generation equipment, polymer activation systems, chemical feed systems, air purification and odor control equipment, and potable water mixing and treatment systems serving the water and wastewater treatment industries. Cleanwater1, Inc., Inc., through its various operating subsidiaries, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure market.
Pure Air is seeking a full-time Assembly Team Member to perform assembly, fabrication, packaging, and related manufacturing activities in support of production operations. This position reports to the Production Supervisor/Manufacturing Manager and assists with the assembly of components and subassemblies, packaging of finished products, material handling activities, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. The Assembly Team Member position encompasses entry-level through intermediate manufacturing roles. Work assignments, complexity, and responsibilities may vary based on training, demonstrated proficiency, and business needs.
Essential Job Functions
  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, fastening devices, and other production equipment while meeting established quality and productivity standards.
  • Follow work instructions, drawings, standard operating procedures, visual aids, and supervisor direction to complete assigned production activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform packaging, labeling, palletizing, staging, and other shipping preparation activities for finished products.
  • Conduct basic inspections of parts, materials, and completed assemblies; identify and report defects, nonconformances, equipment issues, safety concerns, or production delays.
  • Safely operate manufacturing and material handling equipment, including forklifts and walk-behind equipment, when properly trained and certified.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, environmental regulations, quality standards, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) practices.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas through active participation in 5S, housekeeping, waste removal, and workplace organization initiatives.
  • Demonstrate initiative and flexibility by supporting material staging, assisting team members, adapting to changing production priorities, and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent performance to support production schedules and business objectives.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and follow standardized work instructions.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, production documentation, and visual work aids.
  • Ability to maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions and physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, production, or fabrication experience.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, or mechanical assembly equipment.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours per shift.

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform physical production activities throughout the workday.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and material handling devices.

Work Environment

This is a non-exempt position. Compensation is dependent on skill level. The base salary range for this position is $17 and $18 per hour. Benefits package and incentives are provided. We generally offer employees working 21 hours per work or more medical, dental, vision, along with voluntary ancillary benefits.
