Job description

Job Title: Assembly Operator
Location: Taunton MA 02780 
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 3rd shift, 11 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: USD 20.31 per hour
Contract Type: TTH
Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required
  • Mathematical and measuring skills
  • Ability to read, write, and follow English instructions
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and product specifications
  • Physical coordination; able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to work with cleaning solutions such as Isopropyl Alcohol
  • Ability to work respectfully in a collaborative environment
  • Physical demands: vision, reading/writing, climbing/balancing, bending/stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, standing/walking and sitting for sustained periods, finger/grasp/handle/feel, talking/hearing, repetitive motions, weight lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Rarely work in extreme temperatures
  • Working conditions may rarely include ventilation conditions, confined areas, equipment in motion, noise level, poor lighting, exposure to hazardous materials or jarring and vibrations
  • Safety equipment and clothing is required

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble product while following work orders and customer specifications
  • Follow safety rules and procedures
  • Record keeping as directed
  • Understand and follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OPs (Operating Procedures)
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Use Bill of Materials, product specifications, drawings, rulers, Tappi Chart, and Go No Go Gauge
  • Set up branding equipment and brand coils per specification
  • Load, unload, and program post cure ovens per specification
  • Operate spooling equipment per specification
  • Clean and package all products including molded products
  • Set up and operate tube rinsing equipment
  • Assemble pump sets per specification
  • Meet required quantity and GMP standards
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Keep the work area clean
  • Abide by Workplace Safety Guidelines and Company Policies
  • Use all necessary personal protective equipment
