Duties/Responsibilities:

โ€ข Assembly and remanufacturing of production machines and prototype products.

โ€ข Disassembly, assembly, upfit and retrofit equipment systems i.e., mechanical, lift, drive train, low voltage, and hydraulic systems.

โ€ข Follow instructions, schematics, and blueprints.

โ€ข Utilize part identification and inventory control systems.

โ€ข Perform assembly and repair functions using powered and hand tools, jigs, fixtures and overhead cranes.

โ€ข Use basic diagnostic instruments such as multimeters.

โ€ข Interpret technical manuals.

โ€ข Operate heavy equipment to inspect, troubleshoot, and test.

โ€ข Maintain records of all maintenance performed.

โ€ข Adhere to 5 S program.

Required Skills/Abilities:ย 

  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical material is preferred but not required.
  • This job requires stooping, bending, climbing, and the capability of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Personal mechanic tools required; specialized tools provided by company.

Education and Experience:ย 

  • Reference for Auto Mechanic associateโ€™s degree or comparable certification. May substitute certification for 1year of experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three years of assembly experience. Heavy equipment assembly experience preferred.
