Reports To: Production Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Employment Status: Full-Time
Position Summary
The Assembly 1 Operator is responsible for performing basic assembly tasks in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This entry-level position involves assembling components, operating basic hand and power tools, following standardized work instructions, and supporting production goals. Team members are expected to maintain a clean work area while contributing to a positive team environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
โ€ข Assemble mechanical components according to work instructions and engineering drawings.
โ€ข Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
โ€ข Perform basic inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
โ€ข Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
โ€ข Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
โ€ข Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
โ€ข Meet daily production and quality expectations.
โ€ข Assist with material handling and movement of parts as needed.
โ€ข Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production objectives.
โ€ข Participate in continuous improvement activities and training opportunities.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
