Summary

An Assembly Technicianis responsible forassemblingproductsand parts according to customer specifications and detailed work instructions

Essential Functions

    • Prep work area with required work instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
    • Read,interpretand adhere to all work instructions.

    • Assemble all products according tothemanufacturer's directions, work instructions, and specifications following company procedures and directives.

    • Utilize hand tools and specialty technical tools to complete assembly of product.

    • Ensure quality of parts and materials beingutilized. Report all quality issues or defects to Department Manager.

    • Examine finished product to verify conformance with specifications according to work instructions.

    • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.

    • Maintaintools used to assemble and create product.

    • Move,locate, relocate, load, unload, and stack material in assigned area.

    • Collect finished orders for movement to outbound shipping area.

    • Ensure product is labelled and free of damages.

    • Accurately complete all paperwork/documentation associated with the position.

    • Keep the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionFollow prescribed safety regulations. Inspect all equipment daily, report any issues or defects to Department Manager.

  • Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.

    • Perform housekeeping tasksincludingsweeping,removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.

    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    • Regular and reliable attendance.

    • Participates` in all TVS SCS quality and excellence initiatives.
