Description:

Polygon Composites Technology is seeking motivated Production Associates to support the manufacturing of high-quality composite products. Production Associates perform a variety of manufacturing duties, including operating production equipment, completing assembly processes, and supporting production operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of manufacturing duties, including operating production equipment, completing assembly processes, material handling, and other production-related tasks while following established work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
  • Prepare, move, and organize raw materials and finished products throughout the production process.
  • Inspect products for defects and report quality or equipment concerns to supervision.
  • Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and basic production adjustments as needed.
  • Complete production records and paperwork accurately.
  • Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work effectively with team members to achieve daily production, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Polygon’s Core Values—Safety, Deliver Quality, Initiative, Collaboration, and Innovation—through teamwork and continuous improvement.

Education & Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSE).

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and accurately use basic measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently reach and continuously use hands and arms to perform job duties.

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm EST

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm EST

3rd Shift: Sunday through Friday 11:00pm – 7:00am EST

Hours and shifts may vary depending on needs of the department.
