Exciting Opportunity for High-Level Assemblers in Bloomingdale!

Work Now Staffing is thrilled to announce an incredible opening for High-Level Assemblers with our esteemed client in Bloomingdale.

Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed (usually until 4:30pm).

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Job Details:

Be a crucial part of an assembly team by:

  • Performing precision smoothing, polishing, and grinding of metal objects
  • Checking drawings to determine assembly requirements and any special options
  • Ensuring stock bins have adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners for the job
  • Contacting Assembler Lead if shortages exist or incorrect parts are in bins
  • Maintaining hand tools, equipment, inventory, and any necessary supplies
  • Check drawings to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, checks drawings to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, and any special options
  • Assembling components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer order
  • Using your experience to resolve assembly problems and reporting other issues to the line mechanic or supervisor for assistance

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience
  • Ability to handle physical workload; pull/push and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
